15 th KWEST SCIENCE OLYMPIAD
A HUMAN without SCIENCE is indefinable. It is the only being who can imagine, think, create or
re-create and invent or discover. But this skill varies from one another. Every individual is either
good at one skill or another and lags in some.
To create awareness on Science and Technology and bring out changes in disparity among students,
we the KWEST Foundation are launching the KWEST Science Olympiad Test. This is a test held to
improve the quality of Science education and create an awareness of the importance of Science and
also nurturing students to craft themselves for future competitive exams they will be facing.

ELIGIBILITY
Students of classes 3rd to 10th are eligible to participate this exam.

EXAMINATION FEE
EXAM FEE Rs. 135/- should be sent through a crossed Demand Draft (D.D) in favor of KWEST OLYMPIAD payable at HYDERABAD.
The school is permitted to retain Rs. 15/- per each student enrolled towards the examination expenditure and remuneration
for the incharge teacher.
SYLLABUS
The students following either CBSE/ State Board Syllabi can appear for this exam.
TEST CENTERS
Self Centers can be allotted where minimum 75 students are enrolled.
Awards
The top five rankers from each class will be awarded with the cash prizes as below.
1. The first ranker will be awarded with a cash prize Rs. 4000 and a memento.
2. The second ranker will be awarded with a cash prize Rs. 3000 and a memento.
3. The third ranker will be awarded with a cash prize Rs. 2500 and a memento
4. The fourth ranker will be awarded with a cash prize Rs. 1500 and a memento
5. The fifth ranker will be awarded with a cash prize Rs. 1000 and a memento
The next 5 rankers (6-10) from each class will be awarded with cash prize Rs. 500.
The next 40 rankers (11-50) from each class will be awarded with Shields.
The next 50 rankers (51-100) from each class will be awarded with a Book Prize .
CERTIFICATES
Each participant will be issued a certificate which constitutes the marks obtained & overall ranking achieved among all the participants.
INSTITUTIONAL AWARDS
Best Performance School Award: A “Laptop & a Shield” will be awarded to the selected school (to the school where maximum number of its students scored more than 85% marks)
Best Principal Award: The Principals of selective schools will be awarded with Best Contribution Award & a cash prize of Rs. 2,000/-.
Best In-Charge Teacher Award: The In-Charge Teachers of selective schools will be awarded with Best In-Charge award & Certificate of Appreciation and a cash prize of Rs. 1,500/.
Best Participation School Award: Best Participation School Award will be presented to the schools, where minimum enrolments exceed 100.
